This is NOT meant as a slight to Hector or his owner but… … People *need* to be educated about Bull Dogs and other short snouted dogs (brachycephalic). Hideous amounts of in breeding has created breeds that are woefully unhealthy inside and out. Barely able to exercise because they can’t breath, teeth crowded in to a too small mouth, intestinal problems… the list goes on. Average age of Bull Dogs is very low. It is unscrupulous breeders who are at fault although prospective owners should be aware of the risks. Bull Dogs have some of the *best* personalities out there but they are trapped in broken bodies.
